About Us

LifeLine Ambulance was founded in 2008 by John Herlihy, the current CEO and Gabriel Kroll, the current COO. Collectively, John Herlihy and Gabriel Kroll have over 25 years of ambulance experience servicing Long Term Care facilities, Hospitals, and other ancillary facilities in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. LifeLine Ambulance’s operations are located in the South Loop of downtown Chicago, and our service area encompasses the entire Chicagoland .  Our strategic location allows us to provide optimal response times and coverage for our entire service area.

Our large fleet consists of both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances.  Our ambulances are staffed with highly trained and licensed Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians, (EMT’s).  All of our ambulances are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that exceed all local, and State of Illinois requirements. Each ambulance is equipped with a GPS tracking device that allows for real time tracking of LifeLine’s entire fleet at all times. Additionally, all ambulances are equipped with a sophisticated on board video- recording system that enhances safety and quality care for all personnel and clients while on board our vehicles.

LifeLine Ambulance’s fleet is coordinated by our highly trained Dispatch staff utilizing a custom tailored Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. This system allows our Dispatch staff to better coordinate our entire fleet and deploy the units to achieve optimal responses on  requests for services.
