Thanksgiving is best known for food, football and family. At Lifeline, our family is a house divided this year when it comes to Thanksgiving Football (Go Bears & Go Lions 😉 ) So we chose to unite over the food!
Thanksgiving came early this year with all Lifeline employees taking home the turkey of their choosing kindly provided by Jewel Osco on Howard in IL and Meijer in Lincoln Park, MI. Towers of turkey boxes awaited employees as they entered their garage after their shifts. Some employees spent the first moments with their turkey striking a pose:
COO of Lifeline Gabe Kroll said: “What we are most thankful for this Thanksgiving is our fantastic employees. As such, we have distributed Turkeys to everyone in all of our garages. We are hopeful that this small token of appreciation helps make everyone’s holiday a little more meaningful!”
Our final turkey tally, across Lifeline IL + MI: 265 Turkeys and 15 Tofurkeys will be enjoyed this holiday, let’s just hope the football scores don’t follow those odds 🙂
