Requirements and Benefits for Paramedics in Chicago

- Illinois Licensure as a Paramedic
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Current CPR card
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 150+ lbs
- Consent to a criminal background check
- Successful completion of Region XI CNEMS System Entry process
